VT AUVT

After 40 hours of driving over 3 days (and 3 days without good internet access), we’ve finally made it to San Diego! The competition proper doesn’t start until Tuesday afternoon, so we have all of today to get acclimated and do lots of last minute AUV preparation.  It’s a bit strange to sleep in until noon and then discover that it’s only 9:00AM, but we can use all the time we can get! We didn’t get all of the programming done that we planned to do during the drive, but I still think we’re prepared to tackle the first few challenges.

There will be a live webcast of the competition finals (Sunday), so I will post the link when I get it.  Be sure to look for it and tune in Sunday afternoon.  Also, daily video will be posted each morning after the day of competition at the competition website.

I will post trip photos when I can, and look for photos of our testing today!
