The Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Team is a group of tight-knit students at Virginia Tech of Blacksburg, VA who share an interest in intelligent robots that lurk in bodies of water. Every year we design, manufacture, test, and retest an underwater robot for a competition hosted by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) in San Diego.

Our mission is to offer Virginia Tech students an enjoyable project to contribute to the autonomous vehicle community through excellence, learning, cooperation, creativity, and multiple-disciplinary exposure.
